All our seminars are based in a basic structure and content, but this is adapted to satisfy each client’s specific needs. We basically offer close or in-house seminars. This is, they are prepared specifically for a company and the client decides who of their executives should attend it. Nevertheless, during the year we prepare some open seminars where participants from diverse companies can enroll. (For information on our open seminars please press here). In our close seminars we decide with our client about the specific days and times in which he wants to have the seminar, as well the final content and approach of it. During a seminar we analyze the theory that supports each topic, and we work on exercises and cases. All the aspects touched in the seminar can be used to analyze specific problems and situations of our client and/or presented by the participant. If the client requests it, we can have written evaluations among the participant to evaluate there performance and learning. These seminars are held in the client’s facilities or in the place of their choice. The coordination and logistics usually is run by the client. It is Acus Consulting’ responsibility to do all necessary research, as well as the preparation and printing of all materials for the seminar, as well as its lecture. For this seminar each participant will receive a binder with working material developed by Acus Consulting and adapted for the specific topics to be reviewed in each session. The intellectual property and copyright of all materials used in this seminar belong to Acus Consulting and/or Alberto Calva. In order to maintain the quality standards in learning, we ask that the size of the group must not exceed twenty persons. Tipically, our seminars take place in full days and in continuous days. This is in order to achieve a total immersion of the participant in the seminar and looking for the best way to maximize the participants time. The lecturer for this seminar is Alberto Calva, founder and general director of Acus Consultores, S.C. At last, in some seminars we require that all participants have a financial calculator in order to let them do calculations as fast as possible and having more time for the analysis and understanding of the results. In these cases we include simplified instruction booklets of the most common financial calculators, as well as spreadsheets (HP-19BII, HP-17BII, HP-12C, HP-10B, Casio FC-200 and FC-100, as well as Excel and Lotus). |
